There are many self-motivated people in our local community that decide to go back to school to continue their education.

Nicole Moser, a Stevens-Henager College graduate, said going back to school to get her degree was one of the best decisions she has ever made.

Prior to going back to school, Nicole was a single mother working at a daycare, who was looking for a change in her career. That’s when she started looking into Stevens-Henager.

Nicole said attending a four-year program wasn’t an option for her at the time, so she liked that Stevens-Henager could help her get her degree in a less amount of time.

Nicole studied and completed the Medical Specialties program at Stevens-Henager.  Nicole said she enjoyed her time at the college and that it was the perfect fit for her needs.

She said the teachers at the college were what made her education experience the best. “The teachers were great, and they were able to help me learn in my own way,” she said.

Nicole graduated from Stevens-Henager and hasn’t looked back since. She now works for Logan Regional Hospital in their billing department and loves every minute of it.

Although going back to school was an adjustment at first, Nicole said she is proud of herself for doing something different and for furthering her education.

Nicole says no matter their age or living situation, everyone can try something new and step out of their comfort zone. “You are never stuck in life,” she said.

Nicole is the mother of four children and the proud grandma of one granddaughter.
