Are you looking for a kid-friendly way to serve fish for dinner? These simple fish tacos are made with a mild white fish that has a fresh, citrusy flavor your family will love. This is a healthy weeknight dinner that can be made in less than 10 minutes.
Ingredients: *Serves 4-6
- 12 corn tortillas
- 6 small filets of white fish such as mahi mahi
- 1 Tbsp. olive oil
- Juice from 3 limes
- Juice from 1 small orange
- ½ cup red onion, diced
- 2-3 tsp. Old Bay Seasoning
- Pinch of salt and pepper
- 1½ cups shredded cabbage
- 1 bunch of cilantro, chopped
- Toppings such as guacamole, corn salsa, etc.
Directions:
- Combine the olive oil, lime juice, orange juice, red onion, Old Bay, salt, pepper and half of the cilantro in a large Ziploc bag. Add the fish and marinate in the fridge for 1 hour.
- Heat a large skillet and add the fish. Cook on medium-high heat for 4 minutes, then flip and cook for another 4-6 minutes, or until the inside is flaky and no longer pink.
- Warm the corn tortillas in a pan or microwave. Cut the fish into small pieces and scoop onto the tortillas.
- Top with cabbage, cilantro, and any other toppings such as guacamole or salsa.
