Don’t skip breakfast—try this family-friendly meal, instead. It’s sure to be a hit! With bananas and chocolate chips in every bite, these pancakes are mouthful after mouthful of deliciousness.
Ingredients
● 11⁄2 cups Whole Grain Breakfast Mix
● 2 bananas, mashed
● 2 eggs
● 3⁄4 cup 1% milk
● 1 tablespoon canola oil
● 1⁄3 cup chocolate chips
Whole Grain Breakfast Mix
● 1⁄2 cup whole grain oat flour
● 31⁄2 cups whole wheat flour
● 1⁄2 cup wheat germ
● 1⁄4 cup flax meal
● 1⁄4 cup sugar
● 4 teaspoons baking powder
● 2 teaspoons baking soda
● 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
Directions
1. Combine breakfast mix ingredients in a large bowl. Reserve 1 1⁄2 cups of mix and store the remaining mix in an airtight container in refrigerator.
2. Whisk together the mix, bananas, eggs, oil, and milk.
3. Pour onto a preheated griddle. Sprinkle with chocolate chips. Cook for about 4 minutes on each side.
